Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and accurate documentation of stock movements.
- Clean and organize work areas, ensuring aisles are clear and waste is disposed of properly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and handling paperwork.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
