Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load & Unload: Receive, inspect, and load/unload incoming and outgoing freight, ensuring cargo security and proper placement.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and reconciling stock levels with system data.
- Housekeeping: Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and equipment maintenance checks before each shift.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
- Background: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Driving: Valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required for the forklift role.
- Physicality: Ability to stand for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Attitude: Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong willingness to learn new skills.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to understand safety instructions and inventory logs.
