Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure proper working order and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movement.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting.
