Responsibilities
- Operate various material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Stack and organize inventory on pallets and shelves, maintaining accurate stock levels and storage organization.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with OSHA standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following standard operating procedures.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy within the warehouse management system.
Qualifications
- Certification required: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Experience preferred: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations or material handling.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various temperature conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read labels, pick tickets, and maintain organized workspaces.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license, depending on site requirements.
