Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, order pickers) to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and ensuring all items are properly tagged and stored.
- Conduct routine safety inspections of the forklift and work area to identify potential hazards.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders efficiently and meet daily production targets.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report equipment malfunctions to management.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is mandatory.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and adherence to company policies.
