Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload shipments.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders according to production schedules and customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counting and cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to coordinate workflow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA preferred) is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Licensure: Valid California Driver’s License.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work independently.
