Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Drive and operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers while adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Load and Unload Freight: Efficiently manage the movement of materials from trucks to the warehouse floor and vice versa, ensuring cargo is secure.
- Inventory Accuracy: Assist with cycle counts and inventory management to ensure stock levels match our records.
- Maintain Equipment: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately to maintenance.
- Workspace Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently to meet shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Willingness to Train: No prior experience required—candidates must be willing to complete our safety training program.
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard criminal background check and drug screening.
- Communication Skills: Basic ability to read, write, and speak English for safety instructions and team communication.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred for yard operations.
