Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Pallet Jacks) to move, locate, and stack merchandise within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all loading dock safety protocols.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure proper working order and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting cycle counts and logging stock movements into the WMS system.
- Ensure the warehouse remains organized, clean, and free of safety hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified Forklift Operator License (required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy industrial equipment in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory tracking.
