Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trailers accurately, ensuring cargo security and weight distribution compliance.
- Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Organize warehouse aisles to ensure clear pathways for traffic and emergency egress.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must provide proof).
- 1-2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts or reach trucks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
