Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move palletized inventory accurately to designated storage locations.
- Quality Control: Inspect materials for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the supervisor.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and safety checklists.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current and valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain certification within 30 days).
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and inventory accuracy.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
