Job Overview:
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations. You will ensure that our inventory is moved safely and efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, move, and store materials in warehouses and storage yards.
- Inspect forklifts for any mechanical or safety issues before starting the shift and report any irregularities immediately.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate logs of stock movements using warehouse management software.
- Clean and organize the warehouse aisles to ensure efficient traffic flow and prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as refueling or recharging forklift batteries, as needed.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (CFL) and a current OSHA 10-Hour Industrial Safety card.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- License: Valid, clean California Driver’s License.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and inventory accuracy.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, drug-free, and able to pass a background check.
