Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning barcodes and documenting stock movements.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily targets.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding hazardous materials handling.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory management software is a plus.
