Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload freight, materials, and products from trucks, railcars, and storage areas.
- Perform inventory counts and stock checks to ensure accuracy in the warehouse management system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Follow proper lifting techniques and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift operator certification (Forklift License) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
