Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Order Pickers, Reach Trucks) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by performing daily cycle counts and reconciling stock discrepancies.
- Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are strictly followed at all times to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Inspect equipment daily for mechanical defects and report maintenance needs immediately to supervisors.
- Prepare pallets and packages for shipping, ensuring proper labeling, secure strapping, and weight distribution.
- Collaborate with team leads and warehouse staff to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) and current license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating powered industrial trucks.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, stock management, and unit conversion.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
