Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning barcodes and updating warehouse management systems.
- Ensure the warehouse remains organized, clean, and safe at all times, adhering to OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipment, including packaging and labeling.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating powered industrial equipment in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills (for inventory scanning).
- Proven track record of following safety protocols and procedures.
