Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to and from designated storage areas and shipping docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on all assigned equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock is organized and easily accessible.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Assist in general housekeeping duties to keep the workspace clean and hazard-free.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a logistics or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders.
