Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Verify and record inventory quantities, ensuring accuracy against stockpiles and shipping documents.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet production deadlines and customer satisfaction goals.
- Perform daily safety checks and report any equipment malfunctions or hazards immediately.
- Assist in the organization of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a proven commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
