Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and labeling stock correctly.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Proven experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Strong ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners or RF devices.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
