As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that our supply chain runs smoothly from receiving to shipping.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring maximum efficiency, safety, and accuracy in all operations.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and manage inventory accuracy to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe workplace for all employees.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in workflow and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all warehouse machinery and equipment are properly maintained and operational.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management.
- Leadership: Strong proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications: Valid forklift operator certification (Class I, II, or III) is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.
