Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and proper organization of stock.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections of equipment before operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets efficiently.
- Handle pallets and heavy loads safely using proper lifting techniques.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for distribution and transport.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift operation experience is preferred (CDL not required).
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must provide proof at interview).
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and checking orders.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
