Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through daily cycle counts and organized stock placement.
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of potential hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class 1, 3, or 4) is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and the ability to react calmly in emergency situations.
- Basic computer literacy and math skills for inventory tracking.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to pass a background check.
