Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment to move materials within warehouse facilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of material movements
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and company operating procedures
- Inspect and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance team
- Collaborate with shift supervisors and cross-functional teams
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficient material flow
- Participate in monthly safety training and certification updates
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Flexible schedule availability (night shift: 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
