Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized materials
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize inventory storage and retrieval processes
- Maintain accurate documentation of material movements and inventory counts
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Assist in warehouse organization and cleanliness during shift hours
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding operational needs
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) with minimum 2 years operational experience
- Proven ability to safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory documentation systems
- Reliable weekend availability (Saturdays and Sundays)
- Positive attitude and commitment to team collaboration
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
