Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections and equipment maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging stock as it enters and exits the dock.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely processing of orders and efficient workflow during night operations.
- Stack and organize pallets in designated storage areas to maximize space utilization.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating powered industrial trucks.
- Ability to work flexible night shift hours (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and comprehend shipping labels and manifests.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
