Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to safely load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct thorough pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure all safety protocols are met before operation.
- Accurately maintain inventory records by scanning barcodes and verifying stock against the WMS.
- Stack and organize pallets efficiently to maximize storage space and ensure orderly warehouse flow.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including putting away stock and maintaining a clean work area.
- Communicate effectively with team leads to coordinate daily workflow and inventory transfers.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must be provided).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a distribution or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work the Night Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
