Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts (including Reach Trucks and VNA) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Accurately document inventory movements, including picking, packing, and shipping orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in warehouse organization projects to optimize storage capacity and workflow efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and team members regarding inventory needs and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10 or 30 preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
