Job Summary:
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks) in compliance with safety regulations.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to designated storage areas or shipping docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure proper working order.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation of stock movements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all material handling tasks.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed during peak seasons.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must provide certification number).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to work the Night Shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and inventory tracking.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
