Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure all machinery is in safe working order.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging products according to warehouse protocols.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient workflow during the night shift.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to work the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar) on a regular basis.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
