Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Load, unload, and stage materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Perform daily inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using WMS systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Inspect forklift equipment for maintenance needs and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Counterbalance or Reach) required; certified candidates will be prioritized.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) reliably.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software.
- Proven track record of adhering to strict safety protocols.
