Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and transport materials efficiently and safely.
- Perform daily inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using handheld scanners.
- Ensure products are stacked correctly to maximize space and prevent damage.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFL) or equivalent certification is required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, distribution, or logistics is preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory software.
- Valid Driver’s License (not always required, but a plus).
