Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure machinery is in safe operating condition.
- Verify and count stock items to ensure accuracy in inventory management systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders during the night shift.
- Assist in packaging and palletizing goods for shipment to clients.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift operator license (Class A, B, or C).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Commitment to strict safety standards and attention to detail.
