Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts, to move, locate, and stack inventory safely.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock is organized in designated zones.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with shift supervisors regarding inventory levels and potential hazards.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA 10 or equivalent) required.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends as required.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging data.
