Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment to move, locate, and place stock.
- Load & Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, counting, and stocking merchandise to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Maintenance Checks: Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized and free of hazards to ensure a smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (CDL Class A/B is a plus but not required).
- Experience: Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
