Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory accurately.
- Load and unload trucks safely, ensuring cargo is secured properly to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free workspace, strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues to management.
- Assist with inventory counts and ensure stock records are up to date.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse tasks.
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift operator certification (Class 1, 3, or 4).
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to warehouse protocols.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
