Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts, pick, pack, and stage orders to meet daily production targets.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine pre-shift inspections and minor maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
- Material Storage: Organize and store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and rotation.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors to coordinate workflow and resolve any operational issues.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10 preferred) required.
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, safety, and quality control.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
