Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Pallet Jacks) to move, stack, count, and tag merchandise.
- Load and unload materials from trailers, railcars, and trucks efficiently during night hours.
- Inspect forklifts for defects and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock placement.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not always required for the right candidate.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
