Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move inventory.
- Load and Unload: Accurately load and unload trucks, containers, and freight in compliance with safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts, stock organization, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure operational efficiency during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (CDL Class A/B is a plus but not required).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate tight warehouse spaces.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to follow instructions.
