Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move products throughout the facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance issues.
- Organize and stock inventory with precision, adhering to FIFO (First In, First Out) protocols.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and shipping targets.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies strictly.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and occasional overtime.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and understand shipping manifests.
