Overview
We are responsible for the distribution of high-volume retail and e-commerce inventory. As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of our nightly operations, ensuring that our supply chain remains seamless.
Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and stage pallets in the designated zones.
- Inventory Accuracy: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, scan items into the WMS, and ensure inventory counts match system records.
- Safety & Compliance: Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections. Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies.
- Pallet Management: Break down and rebuild pallets efficiently to optimize warehouse space and shipping requirements.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork, including load tags, shift reports, and safety logs.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid OSHA Certified Forklift Operator License is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts (Counterbalance preferred).
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with barcode scanners or WMS systems is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently for safety communication.
