Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload freight trucks and containers using forklifts and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, checking, and organizing stock to ensure accurate inventory counts.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and maintain strict temperature controls within the freezer and cooler environments.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing protective gear and reporting hazards immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery, including pallet jacks and forklifts, with precision.
- Stock Organization: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and accessible to streamline warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods in cold environments.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license (Class B or C) is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is a plus but not always required.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately while maintaining high standards.
- Communication: Basic English language skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
