Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and organize materials safely.
- Load and unload freight from trucks, trains, or cargo ships using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure proper working order and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Accurately record inventory movements and stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure production targets and shipping schedules are met.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics facility.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
