Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and organize pallets throughout the facility.
- Inventory Control: Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Material Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse layout to ensure efficient workflow.
- Palletizing & Stretch Wrapping: Properly secure loads for safe transport and storage.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Communication: Collaborate with team leads to ensure production targets are met.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Must be willing to learn and obtain forklift certification through our training program.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly over an 8-10 hour shift.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read labels, identify SKUs, and perform basic inventory counts.
- Driver's License: Valid state-issued driver's license is required for yard duties.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Attention to Detail: Must be safety-conscious and able to follow written and verbal instructions.
