Responsibilities
- Load and unload: Safely operate forklifts to load and unload freight from trucks and trailers.
- Inventory Management: Assist in counting, sorting, and organizing stock to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Maintenance Checks: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure equipment is in safe working order.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (typically 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Basic English language skills required for safety instructions.
- Driver's License: Valid state ID or driver's license is preferred.
