Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Inventory Control: Assist in receiving, counting, and organizing stock to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff to meet daily production goals and shipping deadlines.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physical Ability: Capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic Skills: Good reading comprehension skills to understand safety labels and instructions.
- Willingness to Learn: Eager to obtain a forklift certification (we provide the training!).
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
