Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company operational procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Assist in organizing and maintaining clean, organized storage areas
- Participate in cross-functional training programs for career development
- Work flexible hours including overtime as operational needs require
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience required - full training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid state-issued driver's license (required for equipment operation training)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory system navigation
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
