Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse and loading docks.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in safe working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper placement of goods.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Perform daily cleanup and maintenance of the work area to ensure a safe and productive environment.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order verification.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards.
