Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and maneuver forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to move inventory throughout the facility.
- Load and Unload Materials: Efficiently load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Inventory Management: Accurately stock and organize products on shelves, ensuring inventory accuracy and accessibility.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of daily operations and perform routine equipment inspections.
Qualifications
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- License: Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not strictly required; training provided for certified operators.
- Attitude: A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong focus on safety and quality.
