Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move materials.
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and handled with care.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, picking, packing, and ensuring accurate stock levels in the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of debris to prevent accidents.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and inventory logs.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: Candidates with no prior experience are encouraged to apply; we will train you.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in inventory and shipping tasks.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for counting stock and weighing packages.
- Background Check: Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license is preferred.
