Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks) to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Loading/Unloading: Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly and handled with care to prevent damage.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory to maintain accurate stock levels and warehouse organization.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols; conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment by removing debris and organizing storage areas.
- Overtime Support: Be available for overtime shifts to meet peak production demands and ensure on-time delivery of orders.
Qualifications
- Entry Level Friendly: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided for certified forklift operators.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions (loading docks).
- Availability: Must be flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
