As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our warehouse operates smoothly. You will be trained on-site to handle heavy machinery and inventory management. Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, including picking, packing, and scanning products.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine visual inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Organization: Keep storage areas organized, clean, and orderly to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are willing to train the right candidate; previous warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Training Availability: Must be available to obtain forklift certification (Class 3) upon employment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently for extended periods.
- Basic Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable mode of transportation and be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
